Chapati & Karak in Doha

I love this place. First time trying Pakistani food and they have me hooked. I’m a new regular for sure.

Great staff and amazing food. I cannot claim to be an authority on Pakistani food, and cannot certify whether this qualifies as great Pakistani cuisine. But I can with great authority, certify that the food here tastes amazing and qualifies as great cuisine. Period. The staff were friendly and helpful even as it was painfully obvious we knew nothing about what we were ordering.

Cute place - really good naan and chapati. Not a place for a quick bite - definitely took some time to get our food. Atmosphere is great though, definitely a fun spot to hang out with a group of friends.

Nice to know that I've found an authentic Indian restaurant. Staff is friendly and the decor is unique. The carom boards are a step-up! Only complaint is how long it takes for the food to arrive on the table.

Great authentic taste. Ordered the Combo with chicken nihari and chicken karahi and Combo with dal n malai kofta.. quantity was just perfect. The Chapati's are just awsome.. keeping up with the name. Worth visiting again

Was wanting to try this restaurant as my bro always says how amazing the food is. Unfortunately, I never got to try it. Food was ordered and as I'm waiting I see the cook sweeping the floor, then turn around and proceed to finish making my order. No gloves nor did he wash his hands. I asked the cook was that my food and he said yes. To make matters worst I tell the owner and he tells me the cook doesn't have to wear gloves to make chapatis. SMH...we got into a whole argument about the whole ordeal... asked for a refund and I will never return. The owner really needs to learn how to treat customers... the staff apologized though.

Hello i loved the food u guys serve, just a suggestion there are more things which are very much famous and popular in Pakistan especially Karachi like desi chinese dishes served with fried rice, Singaporean rice , and most of all the desi way of white sauce pasta etc.. I really dont find much any halal restraunts here serving that.. please consider this i am sure it will grow your business.. Thanks

Tried this restaurant the second time and disappointed this time. Ordered $80 worth of food to go and it was as tasteless as it gets. I asked for extra spicy but somehow they managed to make it sweet and spicy like for eg the chicken karahi which was full of raw tomatoes and tastes like someone had mixed sugar in it. The bihari kebab tasteless. The biryani, no flavor. Never ever coming back again. I had come from far away to pick up this order. Awful food. However, the staff was courteous so good job on that.

This is the best Pakistani/Desi restaurant in the area.Owners are very polite. The setup is really nice with multiple seating options and there is plenty to do when you're waiting for your food. There's a ping pong table, carrom boards,etc. The food is delicious, among the most authentic I've tasted in US, would highly recommend their fried chicken and falooda.

This is going to be one of my new favorite spots!! Not only was the food super fresh, but they had clearly marked and abundant vegan options. The wait staff was personable and gave great recommendations. Super easy to get to right off 65N. If this place had a buffet I would probably be there weekly! A monthly vegan buffet would bring in all the veg lovers. Also great art on the walls and cool low to the ground tables. A seriously unexpected surprise in a little strip mall! Can’t wait to go back!

I went there due to the great reviews, However I was extremely disappointed with the food. It was literally the nastiest food I ever had in my life. My friend and I ordered 2 combination of 2 orders and the only thing we eat was the rice and that because we waited an hour for the food and were starving. We carefully avoided any of the meats. ( goat,lamb, beef and chicken) here is a picture of our leftovers.

One of best places i have had food at. They make it fresh so you might have to wait for your order but the wait is worth it. Tried veg Samosas and Mutton biryani. Both were really good. The best mutton biryani i have had in USA till date. Ordered another mutton biryani. It was that good, freshly made. The only downside is the wait time or else the place is fantastic. The ambiance is really nice, good music.

We got the Paratha wrap , beef Behari and ginger butter chicken and some naan. Everything was top notch . We will be going back . Would recommend to anyone .

Overall a excellent restaurant! Authentic Pakistani food that's made fresh to order. Staff is absolutely amazing and extremely helpful. The atmosphere is very welcoming. There's even a ping pong table to play while you wait for your food. The food was fresh and tasted great. It was a bit mild but you can ask for spicy. Highly recommend!

The best place for eating Indian or Pakistani food. It served halal meat. They cook excellent meals. The only thing which I didn't like was their sitting arrangements. They were not comfortable. You have to sit on bench style cement seats w/o any cushions

Good service and friendly staff. I had an order of vegetarian options. Though it was tasty enough, the dish felt like it had some flavours of a non-veg food/sauces in it.

A welcome atmosphere, staff were friendly. The long chair is a little hard to sit, and it’s a little hot inside. Stronger air conditioner will be nice. The food is good, we ordered “KARHAI”, “PAKORAS” “PALAK ALOO” The started “PAKORAS” was so delicious, definitely ordered again. And I really love my dish “KARHAI” the lamb tasting amazing. If you love lamb, you should definitely come try it. It just all the dish was kind too salty. We drink so many water when we ate. It will be good if not so salty. Might try ask them do to that next time

Place is very lively with ping pong table and carrom, service is good, very friendly and polite. Food was delicious and prices are reasonable. Highly recommend 👍

Absolutely a ripoff. I ordered delivery and I paid almost $35 for my food and got such a small amount. Less curry and so much rice. $14 dollar for curry and I received less than half. What am I going to do with a lot of rice? I didn’t even get my chapati. Such a small amount of food for a expensive price. It wasn’t even enough for two people! That’s absolutely ridiculous. Never ordering from here again. They just put everything into one dish and sent it off to me. Paid so much just to be in one little damn dish. What a rip off.

My husband brought me here for my birthday last year, it was our first time trying it. I think think the whole setup of the restaurant is pretty cool. Being that this is a combination of Indian - Pakistani cuisine , i feel like you're getting a taste of both cultures infused into one. We both liked our meals and we liked the naan which we got a side order of. Everything tasted good, i like how the portions were halved of each dish, that way food doesn't go to waste. This is a nice little lunch spot i'd say, glad we tried it.

The food in my opinion was a 5 start food. I dropped one start for the environment, especially the chairs which were not exactly comfortable. The food felt like a homemade dish. It wasn't flashy and glittery, but simple and humble and absolutely delicious. I had lab kebab and Nahari; both were great.

I’m a fan of trying new foods and Chapati was def something new for me. I didn’t know what to order so I trusted someone to pick for me and I don’t regret it one bit. I got the Chicken Tikka Masala and Aloo Tarkari Combo. The food came out hot and the first thing I noticed was the presentation. The food arrangement was very pleasing to the eye. Once I starting eating I couldn’t stop. There was so much flavor from the meats, rice and veggies in the dish. Also a little spicy which I added more jalapeños to make it even spicer. This was a perfect combination with the chapati and a huge portion. I left pleasantly full. Anyone wanting to try something new and delicious this is the spot!

Mmmmmmmmm A fine Pakistani restaurant to go with the other international cuisine on the northwest side. Killer service to go with some fabulous food. Spicy enough to drain the sinuses.

I absolutley love this place!. My favorites are Goat Bryianni and Chicken Tiki Masala and the chia tea. The older guy at the counter is also super nice and friendly!. I found this places two days ago and came back in less than a week.

Nice chill place to eat delicious food!

We came to Indiana for an interview and were looking for a good place to eat. Although we love Indian food, we're coming from an area that doesn't have many options. We saw great ratings for Chapati and were not surprised when the food came out looking great and tasting even better. Because we were just visiting, we wanted to try a bunch of different dishes. The Combo 1 worked out to our advantage, as we were able to taste 4 menu items from just two orders of the combo. The atmosphere is great too. GIANT tables with booths, a ping pong table, couches to lounge in, and some TVs playing some great Bollywood tunes. Maybe we should try extra hard to get this job, just so we can eat here regularly. That's incentive enough for me!

Just had lunch here. Veggie biryani and bindi were fresh, perfectly spiced and oh so delicious! The chapati was very soft and fresh as well. Interior of restaurant is thoughtfully and beautifully decorated as well as being very clean. Ordering was a breeze with excellent customer service. Will dine here again when I return to Indianapolis!

I was pleasantly surprised with this restaurant. When we pulled up and I saw it was in a strip mall I was skeptical. First of all the service was outstanding and extremely friendly. We ordered two dishes and naan for 4 people and it was plenty of food. Beyond that it the food was very delicious. All in and all, a great experience.

Great tastes. First time having goat and really liked it! Will return. Atmosphere is very cool too with games and large tables. Large event room for big parties. Ping pong table and more! Love the combo options to get to things for a small upcharge.

This is by far my favorite! I have tried so many around Indy and have had terrible, decent, and pretty good food/experiences but Chapati is amazing, every time. I have no need to try others anymore!!

The food and the service here are really good. The price of the food was reasonable. They explained the menu and let us decide what to order. Nice and comfortable place to bring your family.

10/10 recommend! Took my Pakistani friend there to have a halal meal. Food was delicious and authentic! The environment was clean and modern. Will be back soon!

I went to dinner here 3 years ago on a work trip and really enjoyed it. I made a trip here again so I had dinner and lunch! One thing to note is you have to ask for spicy or very spicy... Then the food goes from good to awesome.
